Indian port gets another rail service
The Indian transport specialist Gateway Distriparks has launched a container train service to Kandla Port, Gujarat, connecting all five of its inland container depots (ICDs) to the harbour on India’s west coast. The new service features double-stack operations and optimised efficiency and transit times.
Gateway Distriparks has a network of ten container terminals in India, operating a fleet of 34 trainsets along with 560+ trailers for transports between its facilities and maritime ports, as well as first and last mile connectivity to provide end to end solutions to the export and import industry.
The company offers general and bonded warehousing, rail and road transport, container handling and other services. (ben)
