Improving data exchange in combined transport
In cooperation with project partners, Kombiverkehr has launched a new data interface between the European rail infrastructure managers' system TIS (train information system) and the KV4.0 data hub.
With this link, all users connected to KV4.0 now also receive operational data from the network operators, such as train running information, operational timetables, reasons for train delays, ETA (estimated time of arrival) messages and train departure messages, Kombiverkehr said.
Terminal operators, railway undertakings, CT operators and their forwarding customers will benefit from this information. The measure is supported by the EU project Edict. (ben)
