Improved UK - Ireland service
Britain is still exporting fewer goods than before Brexit, with volumes being around 15% below records registered in 2018. Ireland is Britain’s fourth largest export market, and the increased complexity associated with the customs border is preventing seamless transports for British businesses.
In 2021, Europa Road introduced its Europa Flow service for moving goods between the UK and Europe. From June 2024 on, it will be also available on all daily routes between Ireland and the UK.
The forwarder, which is part of Europa World, said that it recently invested over GBP 1 million (EUR 1.16 million) in its infrastructure in Ireland to establish a dedicated team in Dublin and a specialist customs brokerage service. (ben)
