ID Logistics to manage the store
ID Logistics has signed six-year contract with Intermarché to manage logistics operations at the latter’s site near Saint-Étienne, France. The 52,000 sqm hub was originally operated by Casino, from where it supplied its stores with grocery and drugstore products.
Now that Intermarché has acquired 294 Casino stores, ID logistics is taking over operations in Saint-Bonnet-les-Oules while retaining the 200 active employees at the site. From here, the provider can supply 87 Intermarché stores in the Centre-East region with non-fresh food products.
It is currently carrying out a series of renovations and renewals at the site. Once the upgrades are completed, the hub can be opened to some of the company’s other customers. (mk)
