Hungary's first e-truck in operation
With the first e-truck on the Hungarian market, Metrans is now offering carbon-neutral transports by road as well as rail. The new e-truck will join the fleet of WIN Capital, Metrans' road haulage partner, and will be used primarily for the delivery of international freight cargo.
Metrans is the first company in Hungary to offer a 100% carbon-neutral and climate-friendly goods transport.
The prototype of the new e-truck was converted from a DAF XF super space cab. It has a range of around 200 km at full load. Its on-board charger charges the batteries to 100% in five hours. With a fast charger, the charging time can be reduced to two hours. (ben)
