Hub Group augments intermodal services in Mexico
The US transport company has formed a JV with Easo, a Mexican intermodal carrier specialising in intermodal, trucking, truckload and freight brokerage services. Through a network of terminals in Mexico, Easo caters to the entire Mexican domestic market and main logistics hubs in the USA.
The partnership will expand Hub Group’s intermodal and transport business, with Easo serving a diverse base of blue-chip customers using a variety of modes.
With a substantial increase in cross-border trade activity from nearshoring, the JV maximises Hub’s cross-border portfolio and provides enhanced intermodal conversion opportunities, the group said. (ben)
