Hoyer Group chooses Torben Reher
Torben Reher took over the position of chief financial officer (CFO) of Hoyer Group, a logistics company headquartered in Hamburg, on 1 April 2022. Reher replaces Gerd Peters, who has stepped down after more than 13 years with the company. Reher will join chief executive officer (CEO) Björn Schniederkötter on the executive board.
Reher - who holds a doctorate in law and an MBA – joins Hoyer from the Liebherr Group, a family-run technology company, where he has worked since the beginning of his professional career.
At Liebherr, Reher held various management positions in national and international locations, including in Asia and the Middle East, before being appointed chief financial officer for Liebherr USA in 2016. (cj)
