Honours for CMSA and OPC in Latin America
The terminals Contecon Manzanillo (CMSA) in Colima (Mexico) and Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana (OPC) in Cortes (Honduras) both run by ICTSI, were certified internationally with the seal of “fair logistics” by the Texas-based world organisation of cities and logistics platforms after the review of the logistics services that are offered to stakeholders.
CMSA operates the second specialised container terminal in Mexico’s Port of Manzanillo, while OPC operates the specialised container terminal in Honduras’ Puerto Cortes.
The recently obtained certification guarantees that the costs of services in both CMSA and OPC are determined in line with the four principles of fair logistics: transparency, improvement, environment and support for small and medium enterprises. (kd)
