High-speed train arrives in Uzbekistan

RZD Logistics has delivered a Talgo high-speed train from Spain to the Uzbek railways in Urtaaul, Uzbekistan. The cargo arrived by sea in St. Petersburg (Russia) from Bilbao.

The assembled train was then put on its own axle. With the help of locomotives, it was transported by rail to Urtaaul. In total, the cargo covered a distance of 8,200 km.

The Talgo-250 non-decoupled train consists of two locomotives weighing 67 t and 15 passenger cars weighing, depending on the class, from 14.6 t to 18.3 t. The total length of the train was 260 m.

RZD Logistics and Uzbek Railways intend to continue their cooperation. The next shipment is scheduled for September this year. (ben)
