HGK banks on continuity
Steffen Bauer has been at the helm of inland navigation company HGK Shipping, which is part of the Stadtwerke Köln Group, since August 2020. His contract as CEO has now been extended. Bauer served as head of the Imperial Shipping Group for several years before it was taken over by HGK.
One of the priority tasks of the old and new CEO will be to successfully accompany and complete his company’s integration into HGK. Bauer will also continue to drive forward HGK Shipping’s strategy of innovation in the European inland shipping industry. (amh)
