HES captain hands over the helm
Effective 31 August, after nearly 1.5 years, Cees van Gent will step down as CEO and chairman of the executive board of the Rotterdam-headquartered bulk terminal and logistics services provider HES International.
Søren Skou, chairman of the supervisory board: "During his impactful tenure as CEO, van Gent among others has strengthened the leadership teams, installed a true performance-oriented culture, driven the delivery of a record-breaking financial performance and most recently concluded the successful EUR 1 billion refinancing of the company’s capital structure."
Mark van Lieshout, CFO of HES International since 2020, will take up the role of interim-CEO until a permanent replacement has been found. (ah)
