Helping to spread hydrogen technology
The implementation of hydrogen technologies in rail transport is accelerating. For railway operators, the availability of hydrogen supplies and refuelling stations is of key importance for the introduction into service of rail vehicles powered by hydrogen cells.
The Polish companies Orlen and Pesa have decided to jointly prepare an offer for rail carriers and intermodal operators, including the supply of rolling stock along with hydrogen supplies and solutions enabling refuelling.
The agreement provides for long-term cooperation between companies which intend to develop hydrogen technologies in their areas, Pesa said. (ben)
