Hellmann got around in 2020
It is a look back in satisfaction. Despite the well-known challenges last year, Germany-based Hellmann is content with financial year 2020 and Q1/2021.
While the first half of 2020 was characterised by declines in volume, especially in air freight, volumes for the year as a whole remained stable. Despite a slight overall decline in volumes, the Hellmann group was able to increase annual revenue by 4.4 % to EUR 2.5 billion with 10,601 employees in 2020 and achieve an increased ebit margin of 2.9 %.
The outlook for the current fiscal year 2021 is positive "across all products, with the group's key figures for Q1/2021 growing significantly above the previous year," Hellmann said in a press release. (sh)
