GXO expanding Mediterranean operations
Hisense has partnered with GXO Logistics to manage its logistics operations in Spain. GXO now oversees distribution, returns, repacking and value-added services at a new 36,000 sqm logistics centre in Albuixech, Valencia.
The site, located near the Mediterranean corridor and harbour, has the capacity to handle over 700,000 units annually, as the company reports. In two months, GXO has improved productivity and inventory accuracy by introducing solutions for bulky and delicate products.
“Having a trusted partner to manage our logistics operations with efficiency and accuracy is vital for us,” said Indalecio López, services and logistics director at Hisense Iberia. (js)
