Güttler reinforces fleet with turning assistants
The German company Güttler has rejuvenated its fleet by the addition of ten new Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks for domestic and international haulage services. The logistics specialist is now relying on state-of-the-art safety technology as all the new vehicles are equipped with turning assistants.
The system emits visual and acoustic warnings when a driver wants to turn and/or overtake and there is a cyclist, pedestrian or another hindrance in the way. Güttler has already invested a seven figure sum in the modernisation of its 70 HGV-strong fleet this year. (ben)
