Growth in large parts of Europe
Rhenus, is continuing to expand its network in Scandinavia by acquiring the Swedish road transport specialist, MTS Malmö Transport & Spedition.
With this move, Rhenus is enhancing its portfolio of services in shipping general cargo and temperature-controlled goods as well as customs clearance – and is gaining new routes to Central and Eastern Europe as well as Turkey.
MTS operates from a cross dock facility in the southern Swedish city and logistics hub of Malmö and offers all types of transport such as FTL, LTL, groupage, ADR and temperature-controlled vehicles.
Rhenus already expanded in Scandinavia last year: it opened business sites in Norway and Denmark and acquired the Danish 3PL specialists DKI. (ben
