GlobalX: changes at the helm
Global Crossing Airlines Group has appointed Chris Jamroz (left) as executive chairman and Ryan Goepel (right) as president. Goepel will also retain his position as CFO.
Former CEO Ed Wegel is stepping down but will continue to serve on GlobalX’s board of directors and as a GlobalX senior advisor. While the company continues its search for a successor, the leadership team will report to the executive chairman of the board.
In 2021, Jamroz, while at the helm of Ascent Logistics, led the transformative investment in GlobalX, and has since served as board advisor and subsequently, director of the board. In his prior role, Jamroz led USA Jet Airlines.
Goepel most recently was CFO for Flair Airlines Canada. His previous positions include CFO for Zeitecs and business unit finance leader for KBR Services. (cj)
