Glencar to build East London hub
The UK construction company Glencar is planning to design and build a warehouse development for the company Valor Real Estate Partners. On a site in Beckton, East London, Glencar will build four logistics/industrial units totalling 19,974 sqm. The units can be rented in sizes ranging from 2,529 sqm up to 7,603 sqm.
Construction has already begun; completion is planned for December 2024. The park, dubbed Valor Park East Circular Phase 2, is connected via multiple highways to Central London.
Glencar managing director London and South Roy Jones: “The warehouses will be highly energy efficient and targeting an EPC A-5 or better and a Breeam Excellent rating. The units will include ESG credentials such as EV charging stations, LED lighting, green roofs and PV roof panels.” (mk)
