Getzner relies on Linz airport

Getzner Werkstoffe from Bürs in Vorarlberg (Austria) is currently carrying out its largest ever single order for an elastic building warehouse near Beijing.

But that's not all: a special air freight shipment was required to deliver the vibration protection on time. The transport of the 8,000 sqm of 50 mm thick polyurethane panels is also the largest air freight order in the history of the company, which was founded in 1969.

Thomas Dorfner, regional sales director Asia Pacific: "Other, more cost-effective means of transport such as ship and rail are currently in short supply and therefore not available at short notice. However, we were able to organise the air transport via Linz quickly. The handling of the charter flight was highly efficient thanks to Cargomind's expertise at Linz Airport." (ah)
