German carrier back on top

Kürnach (Germany)-based Hans Geis has won the 2020 quality ranking awarded by IDS Logistik, a German general cargo cooperation with 50 locations, 15.3 million consignments (2020) and a staff of 7,539. This is the sixth time in a row that the transport company has been elected to the podium.

Kempten-based depot Lebert-Noerpel took second place and won the title "rising star of the year". The previous year’s titleholder DSV from Lahr came in third.

Karsten Oehrlein, head of freight forwarding at Hans Geis: "After winning the ranking in 2015 and being runners-up four times after that, we are very pleased to be on the top of the podium again."

Among other criteria, IDS judges the rate of compliance with agreed delivery times, the completeness of the scan, the results of regular audits and the quality of express deliveries. (amh)
