Geodis taming the little tigers
France-headquartered Geodis has decided to extend its road network capabilities in Southeast Asia. Its network now connects Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The company deploys its own fleet of vehicles and a large network of partners. The addition of the service to Vietnam is a response to the current boom in the country's manufacturing industry.
Initially, Geodis set up its road haulage service in Southeast Asia in November 2019 to cover the needs of companies requiring a day-definite road transportation solution for their cargo, in the range of 30 to 1,000 kg per shipment. Standard and personalised solutions have been available since March 2021. (sh)
