Geodis offers reverse logistics in Torija
Geodis has launched a new reverse logistics service at its Torija site in Spain, aiming to reduce its impact on the environment.
The 55,000 sqm warehouse, serving an e-commerce client, includes 3,000 sqm dedicated to handling returns of XL products, including household appliances. Geodis manages unloading, classification and outbound flows for repair, reselling or sustainable disposal through accredited providers.
The service aims to improve customer satisfaction, optimise operational costs and support return and recycling initiatives. According to the company, this expansion reflects Geodis’s commitment to adapting to e-commerce and promoting the circular economy through logistics innovation. (js)
