Genk's new logistics centre operational
It is the group’s fourth business location in Belgium. Nippon Express Holdings recently launched the Genk Logistics Centre in Genk Green Logistics Park in the Eastern part of the country.
The new centre is adjacent to the terminal port for barge transport from the port of Antwerp and connected to railway terminals and Liege Airport for links to other destinations in Europe.
It is part of a network that comprises Germany, the Netherlands and France. The centre features a variety of energy-saving equipment (solar and wind power generators, water circulating systems, etc.) to help achieve carbon neutrality. (sh)
