GDP for pharmaceuticals facility in Brussels
Nippon Express (Belgium) has gained good distribution practice (GDP) certification for air and ground forwarding operations, inclusive of inventory control, at its facility in Brussels Airport’s cargo area.
Belgium has become a hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and Nippon Express' shipper, NX Belgium, recently signed a business partnership agreement with Medexi, which specialises in pharmaceutical transport, and obtained GDP certification for operations at a Medexi-owned temperature-controlled 2,000 sqm facility dedicated to pharmaceutical products. The warehouse can provide both refrigerated (2ºC-8ºC) and constant-temperature (15ºC-25ºC) storage. (sh)
