Gas trucks between two Danish towns
TIP Europe has entered into a partnership with Iveco and Post Nord for greener transport. The truck rental and leasing company TIP Europe has supplied ten sustainable Iveco gas tractors to Post Nord in Denmark. The new Iveco S-Way vehicles have a 460 hp gas engine that runs on compressed biogas (CBG), which can help Post Nord reduce CO2 emissions by 95% compared to a similar Euro VId diesel engine.
Additionally, Post Nord's new Iveco gas tractors emit 99% fewer particles and 90% less NOx gases than a similar Euro VId diesel engine. The lorries, which have a range of 500 km on a full tank and are approved for a 44 t loads, will run in Copenhagen and Hillerod. (ben)
