Galliker receives first series-manufactured e-truck
Volvo Trucks recently launched the series production of electric trucks. The Swedish truck manufacturer has now handed over the first truck of this production line to the Swiss transport company Galliker. “For us, taking delivery of our first Volvo FL-Electric is an important step towards green logistics,” says CEO Peter Galliker.
With this move, the company underscores its existing commitment to sustainable development. Among other things, Galliker will use the Volvo FL Electric for local transports for the Swiss technology company ABB. The e-truck is a two-axle vehicle with a permitted total weight of 16.7 t. (ben)
