Future automobile hub in Rhineland-Palatinate
Harden Industriebau is developing its first build-to-suit property in Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, for a global automotive supplier. The logistics hall is being set up on 31,000 sqm of a former military airfield and will be built according to the DGNB Gold standard.
A photovoltaic system and heat pumps will be installed. Harden Industriebau was chosen because the Düsseldorf-based company specialises, among other things, in resource-saving and sustainable construction methods.
"We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to realise a sophisticated industrial property for a well-known automotive supplier shortly after our launch in Germany," says Managing Director Thorsten Pollok of Harden Industriebau. (mk)
