Fuels haulier receives first LNG trucks
AD Fuels in UK has added four ADR-spec Volvo FH LNG 6x2 tractor units to its fleet, in response to the surge in demand for transporting LNG. The three-year old Worthing-based company hauls for major road transport gas providers.
Each vehicle is expected to cover around 160,000 km per year and will be on the road seven days per week, transporting LNG from the Isle of Grain across the UK.
The arrival of the four vehicles sees the fleet increase from 12 to 16 trucks, with AD Fuels growing the size of its LNG tanker fleet too. By the end of 2021, the company expects to have 13 dedicated LNG tankers on the road, alongside several moving floor trailers and CNG tankers. (ben)
