From UPS to Amerijet
Amerijet International Airlines, a leading cargo airline, is promoting its chief financial officer, Joe Mozzali, to the post of chief executive officer on 7 October. Before joining Amerijet in February the 30-year industry veteran held series of senior leadership roles in finance and strategy at UPS.
Mozzali’s experience includes serving as CFO of UPS Airlines, CFO of ‘UPS international and supply chain’, vice-president of strategy for UPS Europe, Middle East and Africa and CEO of Kiala, a European e-commerce logistics company acquired by UPS.
With the cargo sector facing cooling macroeconomic conditions after several years of strong growth, Mozzali will lead improvement efforts involving Amerijet’s people, processes and technology. (cj)
