From Kuehne + Nagel to BLG
The supervisory board of the BLG Group has appointed Axel Krichel as the new chief operating officer (COO) for the automobile and contract divisions, effective 1 January 2025. Krichel will also join the board of management. He succeeds Matthias Magnor, who will take on the role of CEO of the BLG Group.
In his previous position, Krichel, who holds a degree in computer science, was a member of the management board of Kuehne + Nagel with responsibility for the entire contract logistics business area in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Before that, Kickel was senior vice president (SVP) for operations & customer excellence logistics in Europe as well as SVP for a major customer in the aerospace industry, also at Kuehne + Nagel. Further career stages included senior management positions at Schenker and DHL. (cj)
