From diesel to HVO biofuel

Ceva is switching fourteen trucks to HVO biofuel, which is produced by processing renewable waste vegetable oil.

By using this biofuel to power trucks over a distance of 6,400 km every day, Ceva will cut its annual carbon emissions by more 1,200 t. With this low-carbon alternative, the haulier also expects to save 470,000 litres of ordinary fuel per annum.

The trucks are used to collect and deliver automotive parts. They will be deployed on three daily routes to supply the Toyota Motor Manufacturing France plant and Toyota’s cross-docking platform in Onnaing near Valenciennes in Northern France. (ben)
