From DB Schenker to Maersk
Logistics expert Ole Trumpfheller will assume the position of vice president and managing director of the North Europe Continent (NEC) area of Maersk, based in Hamburg on 1 May 2024. Trumpfheller is moving from DB Schenker, where he was most recently head of global operations and chief operating officer, global contract logistics & supply chain.
The NEC area comprises the DACH and Benelux countries and Poland and is one of the largest areas within Maersk's global organisation in terms of business volume.
Before joining DB Schenker, where he also served as executive vice president contract logistics & SCM for Germany and Switzerland, Trumpfheller worked for several years at DHL as managing director - Europe, Middle East, Africa and managing director - Southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria. (cj)
