From Boston Consulting to Cargo Beamer
Cargo Beamer, which specialises in railfreight services for non-craneable semi-trailers, has appointed Tilman Apitzsch as managing director of Cargo Beamer Intermodal Operations.
In this role, Apitzsch will head the newly created ‘business solutions’ division, where he will oversee the company’s strategic planning. He will resport directly to COO Boris Timm, joining the management team of Cargo Beamer Intermodal Operations that includes Tim Krasowka and Alexander Kornblum.
Apitzsch previously worked for some years as principal for the transport, aviation, and infrastructure segments at the Boston Consulting Group. With over ten years of experience at management consulting firms, he has extensive knowledge of the rail and aviation industries. (cj)
