From Asia to multiple destinations worldwide

Kerry Logistics Network (KLN), based in Hong-Kong, China, has launched a global less-than-container load (LCL) service with weekly direct connections from key Asian gateways to multiple country destinations, catering to more than 2,800 corridors worldwide. For the new service, the company will rely particularly on its overland network between China and Southeast Asia.

KLN provides shipment pick-up services throughout China in all base ports with complete control of landside haulage costs. The forwarder also offers value-added services including insurance, fumigation, customs clearance, warehousing as well as cargo tracking through its designated portal.

Many companies are facing increasing price pressure as the demand for products remains low post-pandemic, KLN said. The new service allows to increase the load per container, which results in more flexibility and cost savings for shipments, in particular for smaller-volume cargoes, the 3PL company added. (ben)
