French expansion into Switzerland
Delanchy, a French specialist in food and beverage transport founded in Brittany in 1968, expanding into foreign markets with the acquisition of BJG Team 24. This Swiss company, created in 1999, specialises in cold logistics, and also has affiliates in France, Italy and in Germany.
The takeover allows the Breton group, which employs 3,200 people in 41 locations and is already established in Italy and Spain, to increase its network in Europe. BJG Team 24 focuses on the transport of flowers and wine. (sh)
