Frankfurt: European hub for United Airlines
United Airlines has further expanded its air cargo capacities between the USA and Europe. Frankfurt plays a special role in this project: five times a week a B787-10, carrying only cargo, takes off from FRA bound for Atlanta, which increases the number of weekly United flights from Frankfurt to the USA (New York EWR, Chicago, Denver, Houston, San Francisco and Washington besides Atlanta) to 49 and makes Frankfurt the hub with the largest flight offer in Europe.
Furthermore, United has also launched a pure cargo connection between Zurich and EWR, operating this route three times per week with a B787-9.
In addition to these flights, United offers cargo capacities to the USA from Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, London, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome as well as Delhi, Mumbai and Tel Aviv. (ah)
