Frankfurt airport on Indian roads
Fraport is promoting Frankfurt airport’s cargo expertise in India, running a roadshow in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi from 7-11 April.
The goal is to highlight Frankfurt’s global reach, strengthen ties with Indian markets and showcase Fraport’s skills in complex cargo handling. India’s growing economy offers strong opportunities for deeper logistics partnerships. The roadshow will bring together industry experts and officials to discuss Frankfurt’s role in moving pharmaceuticals, perishables, high-tech goods and e-commerce.
Denis de Farias Duarte, Fraport’s vice-president for cargo development, said the visit aims to present Frankfurt’s advantages and better understand the challenges facing Indian exporters. Another focus is a ‘CargoHub’ master plan to develop Frankfurt’s infrastructure for global supply chains. (ah)
