Fr. Meyer's Sohn expands to Sweden
Hamburg-based logistics company Fr. Meyer’s Sohn is acquiring the Swedish forwarder C Land Logistics. C Land Logistics mainly focuses on sea transports and air and railfreight.
Its three hubs in Boras (near Gothenburg), Norrköping and Helsingsborg will be integrated into Fr. Meyer’s Sohn’s network. Operational business will continue as usual during the acquisition process, as both managing directors will remain in place.
“C Land Logistics has deep roots in Sweden and has an excellent reputation as a logistics provider. The acquisition fits ideally into our already existing network and is the perfect addition to our operations in Northern Europe,” said Heiko Voigt, managing director of Fr. Meyer’s Sohn. (mk)
