ATS-Hellmann is giving up its air and sea freight activities in Switzerland and handing them over to Hellmann directly. From 2023 on, Hellmann will be working with its own Swiss national company and taking over part of its long-standing partner’s team and market presence in Switzerland.
ATS-Hellmann has been the operating unit for air and sea freight transport in Switzerland since 1991 and will transfer its existing business activities, and the employee base – still headed by managing director Kathrin Kuske – to the newly founded unit.
In addition, Manfred Schellhammer, a former Kuehne + Nagel executive, has been recruited as chairman of the bboard of directors for the Swiss national company. Hellmann will remain in partnership with the ATS Group and will continue to use its services, including air freight handling. (sh)
