Foodstuffs logistician modernising fleet

The vehicle rental enterprise Fraikin is receiving 30 units (D18/D14 Wides) and six tractors (T480s) from Renault Trucks in Q1 of this year.

Fraikin, which is headquartered in Echandens in western Switzerland, will operate the trucks under its fleet management scheme, but lease them out to Stef, a European transport and logistics company for temperature-controlled food deliveries. The scheme includes managing the vehicles and all the repair and maintenance work required, as well as around-the-clock breakdown services.

The Fraikin Group runs a network of 180 workshops and agencies in Europe. (ben)
