Food transports: net zero by 2030
Arla, Danish Crown, DFDS and DSV have teamed up in a new partnership to develop a climate-neutral transport corridor between Denmark and UK. The aim is to transport Arla’s and Danish Crown’s products from farms in Denmark to consumers in UK.
The scope of the transport corridor will gradually be expanded as electric trucks, electric refrigerated trailers and newly developed greener fuels are tested, phased in and scaled up, so that new technologies may be employed in transporting Arla’s and Danish Crown’s products.
The four partners aim to ensure climate-neutral (net zero) food shipments from Denmark to UK by 2030. (ben)
