Florida funds container crane at Jaxport
Florida legislators have presented Jaxport with USD 23 million for the purchase of a new container crane and the refurbishment of existing cranes at the port’s terminals.
The funds, earmarked by the Florida legislature and approved by governor Ron DeSantis, will enhance cargo handling efficiencies at Jaxport, Florida's largest container port. This investment is part of a broader initiative, bringing the total legislative funding to USD 53 million over the past two years to upgrade Jaxport's crane fleet, supporting the region's economic growth.
