Florian Bleikamp takes the helm


Monique Hezel-Reyntjens (centre) is retiring after after almost 42 years at Beka HGK. Her parents, Franz Josef and Corrie Becker, founded the dry goods shipping company in 1982.

 

Hezel-Reyntjens will be succeeded by Florian Bleikamp (right), who will take over as managing director in conjunction with his role as head of chartering at HGK Dry Shipping. Pascal Rodius (left), who has decades of experience in the industry and who joined the Beka HGK team as authorised signatory a year ago, will manage the company’s daily business.

 

Beka HGK, which has been operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of HGK Shipping since 2022, ships around 500,000 t of goods on the waterways per year. (cj)
