Five years of fashion fulfilment
Davies Turner Logistics will take over warehousing and final mile fulfilment/distribution for a fashion retailer’s UK operations. Lyle & Scott, a clothing and fashion brand, has signed a five-year contract with the logistics provider, under which Davies Turner will manage the retailer’s UK activities from a new hub at Atherstone.
Based at the Midlands site, which has 13,006 sqm of warehouse space, Davies Turner will serve both retail and wholesale outlets as well as online channels. Quality control and reverse logistics will also be provided.
“We were particularly impressed about the visibility that Davies Turner offers for the whole supply chain, which will allow stock to be moved from one channel to another and help to keep all Lyle & Scott’s outlets supplied,” says Andrew Stellakis, director of IT and operations, Lyle & Scott. (mk)
