First place in quality ranking
Freight forwarder Hans Geis from Kürnach in Germany has won first place in the quality ranking published by the general cargo cooperation IDS Logistik. As in the previous year, the Noerpel depot in Kempten came in second. Geis Eurocargo in Satteldorf is among the top three for the first time.
To determine the winner, IDS evaluates the service quality of its partner depots once a year. This includes, among other things, compliance with delivery promises in incoming consignments, the thoroughness of scanning processes, the results of regular quality audits and the delivery quality of express consignments.
In 2021, carriers faced more difficult delivery conditions than in other years due to large volume fluctuations and extreme weather events. (ben)
