First freighter for Tierra del Fuego-based airline
Chile's Aerovías DAP, based at Punta Arenas, provides cargo and passenger services, including ferries and vessels, in the most southern part of South America as far as the Antarctic. It has now added its first dedicated freighter, BAe 146-200(QT), to its fleet.
According to Skyliner-Aviation, the 32.8-year-old ex-TNT Airways quadjet was ferried from Summerside via Norfolk, VA, Fort Lauderdale Executive, FL, Panamá City, Guayaquil and Tacna to Santiago de Chile over the course of 12-13 August 2020. (ah)
