First cargo handler receives Iata CEIV Fresh certification
First in the world after the Hong Kong pilot, the Italian air cargo services provider Alha Group has received from Andrea Gruber (second from the right), Iata special cargo manager, the Iata CEIV Fresh certification for its "Fresh Centres" at Milan Malpensa (4,000 sqm) and Rome Fiumicino (almost 1,000 sqm) airports.
CEO Lorenzo Schettini (right): "With this certificate, our path to reach the best service standards continues. We have invested heavily over the years through continuous updating and renewal of our MXP and FCO facilities, with a particular focus on temperature control and maximum reduction in management times, particularly important aspects, both be it perishable goods or pharmaceutical products."
During 2018, the Alha group managed around 30,000 t of perishable products and 7,500 t of pharmaceutical products, up 12% compared to the previous year. (ah)
