First batch of 150 trucks now in service
Talke is investing heavily in overhauling its fleet of tractor units in Germany, Poland and Luxembourg to enhance safety and sustainability in road transport.
In total, the international logistics provider for the chemical industry will be renewing around 150 SZMs in its fleet in the coming weeks. It put the first five Actros L model SZMs from Mercedes Benz into service at the end of March 2023.
These vehicles are equipped with the latest safety systems and fuel saving features. The improved drive system and an integrated emission control system will reduce the fuel consumption by up to 4% compared to the predecessor engine, Talke said. (ben)
