Finnair Cargo continues to report double-digit growth
In April 2019, Finnair's available scheduled cargo tonne kilometres (ATK) vaulted by 27% year-on-year, reaching 566 million ATK. Revenue scheduled cargo tonne kilometres increased by 15.3%, culminating at 90.4 million RTK. These results were mostly driven by the positive cargo market development in Norway, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Total cargo volumes amounted to 14,287 t, the major part (10,222 t) stemming from the growing (+8.5%) Asian network. Europe tonnage (2,845 t) rose by 57.4%, and North Atlantic tonnage jumped by 73.1% to reach 1,169 t. (ah)
