Fifth Saab 340B cargo aircraft for IBC

Miami-based IBC Airways, one of the largest global operators of Saab 340 cargo aircraft, has taken delivery of the fifth Saab 340B(F) aircraft from Jetstream Aviation Capital, an aircraft lessor specialising in commercially operated regional turboprop aircraft, also based in Miami, which is the largest global owner of Saab 340 and Saab 2000 aircraft and associated spares and engines.

IBC Airways, which has been a leasing customer of Jetstream since 2011, is retiring its fleet of Saab 340A aircraft in favour of the more advanced Saab 340B. The aircraft will operate within the airline’s scheduled cargo network within the Caribbean. (ah)
